Networking opens up so many doors for you and allows us great experiences to be shared and practiced.
Sure socializing with your friends and family is important, but communication with them is not the same when you are wanting to further yourself in the business world.
Opportunities to network on are online with communities like LinkedIn and meetings and conferences. I just recently came back from a leadership conference for my fraternity and came to notice how much potential there is to network with people.

Homepages are the first thing we see when we open our browser.
Our browser is a place where we spend our time on the web talking with our friends and family, doing homework, and entertaining yourself with YouTube, College Humor, and many other sites.
But, what we end up doing is keeping our homepage on default. Default in that we did not change our homepage from what was preset when you installed your browser.

They say that your years at college and university are some of the best years of your life. Filled with awesome possibilities and opportunities, your time spent at college is some of the most exciting you’ll have early on in life.
That said, they also involve a lot of hard work. With courses to take, assignments to write and exams to take, college is not something to be taken lightly at all. College can also be a serious shock to the system for some people. I know from my own experience here in the UK, I felt like I had taken a massive leap forward in my learning when I went to college and felt like I couldn’t keep up at times.
I’m very fortunate in my job to be able to teach some of the things that I wish I had been taught that would have undoubtedly helped me through my college and university years. You see the problem is; teachers and lecturers have a hard job teaching you all of the things that they need to get through so that you can do well. It can be really difficult at times to teach you that most valuable of skills; how to study.

During a brief conversation with a friend of mine, who provides passion-filled advice on how to blog, said that his main source of traffic is generated from a bookmarking system called Delicious. So, there are many people that use this to bookmark.
We all know that you can save or bookmark a site or place on the internet with our browser, which is sometimes referred to as our favorites.
I bookmark a place on the internet that I tend to always use or a place that I will not remember to come back to unless I save it now and use it for future reference.
Delicious allows you to save a place or certain article or post and share it with the rest of the world (or just your friends). Think about all the times you have spent trying to relocate that certain article or site you visited. You look through the history, but just seem not to find it.
I am certainly new to Delicious. Do you use Delicious? If so, why?

Students run into the problem of staying organized. Either we start out organized and then don’t continue or we just ignore being organized.
Being organized throughout college will help you make sure you don’t forget anything and allow you to worry about doing the homework that is due. We can start and stay organized by having two office supplies from your local general or office supplies store.
The two esstential supplies that will keep your classwork organized are:
- A simple 3-ring binder
- A file organizer that is a ‘hybrid’ of a trapper keeper and a portfolio of folders
How do these supplies bring organization for you and your classwork?

Today, Apple made the official announcement for the larger scale iPhone called the iPad.
It surely is creating a hype for all of us who are either Mac fans or just love seeing new gadgets / hardware. Even though Apple has not made an official announcement to when the iPad will come out, how would this gadget help us in college?
We have the essential gadgets for college like a laptop, an iPod, and some sort of device similar to a PDA, so will the iPad be combined into this list or will it just replace those items? Think about if we were to buy our textbooks via the iBook store (iTunes version for ebooks), have these books all on one device and then interact with our friends and classmates.
The iPad has the possibility of being another distraction, but we could have a gadget with the potential for us to learn more efficiently.
What do you think? Would this iPad help in college?

We all have that one hobby we love. We usually spend a good amount of time with that hobby.
Why not turn that hobby into a business?
Hobbies define what we are interested in and tend to define our true passion. Once you have figured out that long-term hobby you will have lots of energy to keep doing that hobby. Generate and put some of that energy into starting a business.
We college students are busy with extracurricular activities, academics, and the social life so why should we start a business that would add to our already busy schedule?
