Got Everyone’s Gifts? Ta-da Lists to the Rescue

The Holidays are just around the corner. Are you ready?

There are two types of shoppers when it comes to the holidays. The type of shoppers who always go shopping for gifts around Thanksgiving (during Black Friday) and those who wait till the last minute.

Whether you are the shopper who shops very early or the one who waits till the last minute there is a place that you can make sure you have completed your holiday gift list.

This place is Ta-da Lists. Ta-da Lists is a site where you can create a free account, with just a username, password, and your email address, and you will be able to create a simple to-do list in seconds.

Ta-da Lists, which is by 37signals, is a very simple way to create a list (in this case a gift list for the holidays).

Creating a to do list is a great way to answer the question that seems to always happen a couple days prior to the actual giving.

But, how does using Ta-Da Lists better than creating a simple to-do list using pencil and paper or on the famous post-it notes?

Never lose your list

Many times you have that list of everyone that you need or want to give gifts to, but end up losing it when it comes time to go gift shopping.  Another thing is that you might forget what all you have left on the list to “check off”, but if you loose the list then you have to try and go back through what you got for who and who you all wanted to give something.

This can become a mess, but it is preventative.

Can always access the list

Since the list is online and saved you will first never lose it (unless you forget your username or password) and secondly you can always have access to it.  Of course you will need internet access, but it seems that today getting this kind of luxury is more of a necessity to many people so it is readily available. Additionally, you can access your list via the web on your computer or an iPhone (I am sure any smartphone would work).

Being able to always access the list is great especially when you do not have to spend most of your time looking for the list.

Share with anyone easily

Let’s say you are going shopping with your whole family or a group of friends and make a list of people that all need to get a gift.  Well, you can share this list with anyone you want to very easily so when you are all over the place at the mall you can effeciently have a complete gift list by the end of the day.  (This process would work when you had and iPhone or any mobile device that accesses the internet)

This will prevent people from getting the same thing or buying a gift for the same person.
