We all need to stop depending on others and do everything ourselves to achieve our personal goals. 12-year-old, Adora Svitak, has done just that and more.
Adora is charged to inspire many, such as adults, college students, and kids her age. She is one that we all can be inspired from through her strong success in such a little time period. With her ‘crushing it‘ and striving to be the best at a very young age, why can’t we do the same?
Recently, she attended a major conference where she was the youngest speaker they have ever had. Her inspiration shined through her passion, strong beliefs, and impressive knowledge.
How can we learn from Adora and strive to inspire other college students through our actions?
Put Your Mind to Becoming the Best
We need to be strong. Upon coming to and during the early years of college we try to figure out what we want to do with our life. I’m not sure Adora will be writing books or giving writing advice for the rest of her life but she chose a path and it becoming the best in it.
Not only does she write short stories, but she has published a book called ‘Flying Fingers‘ and holds a live webcast giving writing advice.
Pick a path and do not always battle with yourself whether the path you have chosen is the right one. Only time and how much effort you put into your path will determine if its what you want.
Be an Idol and Figure to Many
Along your journey of establishing and building upon your chosen path or life desire become an idol to many.
If a twelve-year-old can be an idol to many, so can you. Anyone and everyone can! You just need to be wanting to go that far. We usually cut ourself short either because we are lazy or thinking that we will be alright if we just do subpar or just meeting the requirements. Meeting the requirements in anything you do will not allow you to go farther.
You come to LifeNotion to take your college life farther, because you believe it is the right thing to do.
Now, go out and be the best on your chosen path. Adora is inspiring you and everyone else to do the same.
Watch and listen to Adora speak in the video below.
You can also connect with her on Twitter where she will give a penny to the Save the Children of Haiti Fund for any new follower.
The LifeNotion: As one young child inspires many we can do the same. We just need to strive to be the best in our chosen path and that will ultimately decide whether the path is your passion.

Derek, that's a really cool story, thanks for sharing. I was not accomplishing quite that much as a 12 year old:)
It's really amazing how much a 12-year-old can accomplish these days. This just tells you that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I know that's an old saying, but it is present in this story. Thanks for coming by Josh.
