2010 Goals for LifeNotion and the Community

goal-sm2Two good friends of mine have wrote articles about how bloggers (yes I am a blogger) need to be setting goals for the year 2010.  If you would like to check them out they are Firas Steitiyeh and Mikkel Juhl.

I plan on setting goals for 2010 that make LifeNotion a lifestyle and technology blog that stands out and attracts more and more readers through word-of-mouth.

Firas wrote in his article:

“Having your goals set publicly or even privately, will really help you focus more and dedicate extra time and effort to achieve these goals.”

I fully agree with Firas “Steit” and so I want to show all of you (readers, supporters, and writers) that come to LifeNotion (even if you are new, welcome!) my goals for 2010.   The goals I set for 2010 might just intrigue to keep coming back and wondering what will happen next.

Additionally, you can see what steps I am taking to assure LifeNotion and LifeNotion Community are successful. Read more to view the goals.

Here are my goals for 2010:

Reach 200 average daily page views (current is an average of 35)

Reach 100 fans on the Facebook Fan page (current is 28)

Reach 500 followers on Twitter (current is 205)

Increase the number of comments by keeping great content that everyone loves

Be more active outside of LifeNotion:

These are the goals that I have for LifeNotion and you can help contribute to them by supporting me and LifeNotion as a whole, telling your friends and anyone that might be interested in the purpose of LifeNotion.

I want to reiterate that I strive to provide unique, great content that helps out everyone through their current need and/or lifestyle.

Thanks for your attention and best regards,

  • very well stated goals Derek! I wish you all the best and I believe that you will be achieving them by maximum March and will double them by the end of the year if you stayed at the same pace!

    Best,
    Steit

  • Wow, you have a long list of goals, but most of them will be met. Just try your best to attain them and your site will increase in traffic and subscribers.

It takes time to build a site and one must be patient.

    • I certainly do and I am pushing myself to achieve them and do everything else since I am a college student. Looking forward to it!

      Thanks for the comment, George!

      Best Regards,
      Derek

    • Thanks for the comment and the RT.

And I do strive to really look after my readers being that is my number one purpose with LifeNotion with also connecting with others like you.

      Best Regards.

  • Sounds like you're on your way. Once you define it, you're halfway finished.
